The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. The venue was beautifully maintained and the wedding details were carefully taken care of. We especially loved our stay in the Raven room, which had an amazing jacuzzi. Parking was a breeze and we even got to park right in front of the cottage. Despite there being a wedding happening during our stay, we didn't even notice it. The restaurant served unforgettable food, but don't forget to check out the Pub for their excellent burgers. The staff at The English Inn were also amazing, and the furniture was truly beautiful.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Located a few miles from downtown, this charming inn offers a quaint and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, with unique and tasteful decor. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, with a fresh fruit cup and a choice of four entrees. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. Also, the inn offers plenty of on-site parking, which is convenient for guests.
There were a few minor issues during my stay. Some of the rooms showed signs of wear and tear, with peeling wallpaper and sagging curtains.

The location of the inn, surrounded by beautiful grounds and a flowing river, creates a peaceful and picturesque setting. Guests can enjoy the view while staying in spacious and tastefully furnished rooms, like the Windsor room. The service at the inn is exceptional, with friendly and welcoming staff attending to guests' needs. Breakfast is delicious, with a choice of four entrees and a fresh fruit cup. The inn also offers amenities such as a pub on the ground level and a lovely dining room with live pianist.
The bathroom in the Bath room is a little dated, with only one outlet and finicky faucets.

Spent Christmas here and it was fantastic! Loved the warm and cozy atmosphere of the rooms and the friendly and attentive staff. The location was perfect, as it was close to the city center and a stone’s throw from the river. Plus, the breakfast was incredible, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. We also appreciated the complimentary hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby.
The only real downside was that the walls were a bit thin, so we could hear the noise from other guests in the hallway. the bed was a bit too firm for our liking, but that’s just personal preference.

We had an incredible time at The English Inn. The main house was beautiful and clean. The food was excellent and the service was great. Our family with kids enjoyed the easy parking and the convenience of being able to park right in front of the cottage. The Raven room was amazing with a jacuzzi that we loved. Despite there being a wedding going on during our stay, we didn't even notice. The restaurant and pub on-site served unforgettable food, especially the burgers. The staff was amazing and the furniture was also very beautiful.
Felt extremely happy, no complaints whatsoever.

The complementary chocolate cake and berry pie were delicious desserts. The property featured beautiful flowers and a serene river. It was a great location for a weekend retreat or one night stay during the week. In addition, the weekday dinner-stay packages are a great bargain.
Although the prime rib was tasty, it was served barely warm. The shrimp dish was tough and chewy.
